Building climate resilience through cultural resilience.
After six years working across land and sea, Yayasan Lintas Batas has gathered a network of communities, activists, artists, and collectives working on the intersection of culture and climate resilience.
However, we've found that while they've created actionable local solutions for combating climate change, many are still disconnected from one another and lack the resources to expand or even to sustain their work.
Through our multiyear program, Segara Gunung (The Mountain & The Sea), we aim to reconnect these far-flung outposts, introducing communities from some of the archipelago's most distant ports with solutions-based initiatives from Indonesia and abroad, reintroducing a seaward perspective to climate action and realigning the mountain and the sea.
